In homage to the gold post boxes that recognized the medal winners of the London Olympics, Romans were inspired to accessorise selected branches with a gold pillar to recognise their unprecedented achievement of being named the Best Estate Agent in the UK for two years running.
The panel of judges, chaired by The Property Ombudsmen, Christopher Hamer, included a selection of industry experts and journalists, who concluded that "All aspects of how (Romans ) is run are exemplary and serve and a 'how to' of estate agency".
"Winning this award in 2011 was already a great honour, but being the first to win it twice in a row is truly an exceptional achievement which will drive us to maintain our high standards going forward. This award is a testament to the ability, enthusiasm and hard work of our staff at every branch who now have proof of their excellence on a national scale" said Vincent Courtney, Managing Director for Residential Sales.
