From Campus Hong Kong, You Can Search For The City's Best Shops & Restaurants
With the Quality Tourism Services (QTS) Scheme, Campus Hong Kong guests can find shops and restaurants throughout 'Asia's World City' that meet high standards of product quality and service.
- (1888PressRelease) September 16, 2015 - The QTS Scheme is administered by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), in which accredited establishments must pass stringent annual assessments showing that they meet the standards required.
QTS Scheme-accredited shops must:
• provide clearly displayed prices
• display clear product information
• ensure superb customer service
QTS Scheme-accredited restaurants must:
• provide quality food in clean and hygienic premises
• provide a clear and precise menu with prices for food and beverages
• ensure superb customer service
The Hong Kong Productivity Council is commissioned by the HKTB to conduct the assessments and surveillance visits of the shopping and dining merchants participating in the QTS Scheme.
The thousands of QTS Scheme-accredited merchant outlets can be identified by the display of a QTS Scheme decal and certificate on their premises. Merchants who have been accredited for 10 consecutive years or more can display a specially designed decal.
Through the HKTB website, the user can search for accredited shops and restaurants (including bars and pubs) in the New Territories, Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and Outlying Islands. A search can be done based on district, category and/or the name of a particular shop or restaurant. The restaurant search can also be done by 'Average Spending (Per Person)' for lunch or dinner.
With the Visa Quality Privileges Program, Visa cardholders who use their card at designated QTS-Scheme accredited merchants up until 14 December 2015 can enjoy shopping and dining privileges.
Using this search function, guests staying at Campus Hong Kong - which offers stylish off-campus student housing and student apartments in Tsuen Wan Road in Tsuen Wan, New Territories - can find quality shopping and dining venues throughout Hong Kong from the comfort of their room or dorm.
Getting around Hong Kong to try out these places is made easy on the MTR (Mass Transit Railway)'s extensive network. A Campus Hong Kong complimentary shuttle bus runs to and from the nearby Tsuen Wan and Tsuen Wan West MTR stations.
