Frogtrade Shortlisted For Two Prestigous 2011 BETT Awards
These prestigious awards are regarded to be the most highly esteemed in the industry, showcasing outstanding digital products that serve the education sector.
- (1888PressRelease) November 08, 2010 - FrogTrade (www.frogtrade.com) is thrilled to announce it has been shortlisted for two prestigious 2011 BETT Awards. FrogTrade is a finalist for Leadership and Management Solutions and ICT Service and Solutions for its learning platform and portal technology, Frog.
With education at the heart of its product, Frog engages students and teachers through its intuitive and simple design, allowing them to customise their own Frog learning platform, giving them ownership of teaching and learning within the school.
For the ICT Service and Support Award, Frog has been recognised for its dedicated support and commitment to customer service, including its community network where schools can share learning resources and best practice.
For the Leadership and Management Solutions Award, Frog demonstrated how it can support schools' visions by enabling leaders to manage the performance of their school and make decisions that can impact positively on student learning.
Gareth Davies, Managing Director at Frog says: "Education is at the heart of everything we do here at Frog and so we are delighted to be recognised for the service we provide to our customers and the contribution we have made to teaching and learning within schools."
Frog will be at stand M50 at the 2011 BETT Show in January showcasing its educational ecosystem; once again redefining the learning platform. A growing number of Frog's partners and schools are already creating Frog widgets which provide seamless integration into third-party applications or offer extended functionality designed to suit specific needs.
For example, information from a school's library system, cashless catering, assessment and behaviour are integrated within the Frog platform - meaning teachers, students and parents can access everything they need in one place, even interacting with these external applications from their Frog dashboard. No more multiple logins or switching products required!
The BETT Award winners will be announced at the London Hilton, Park Lane, on the evening of 12 January 2011 after the first day of the BETT Show, the world's largest educational technology event.
