Frog Announces Strategic Partnership With YTL
Agreement enables international expansion for the UK's leading learning platform.
- (1888PressRelease) September 14, 2010 - Frog, the leading supplier of learning platform and portal solutions, today announced a strategic partnership with YTL Education (UK) Limited ("YTL Education"). YTL Education is part of the YTL Corporation Berhad Group ("YTL"), one of Malaysia's largest and most respected companies.
Frog is used in over 600 schools, mostly secondary, across 60% of local authorities in the UK and this is expected to grow substantially during the next 12 months. Frog's focus is based on creating engagement through creativity and making software fun. It engages students and teachers through its intuitive design and drag-drop interface, which allows them to customise their own Frog Learning Platform, enabling ordinary people to do extraordinary things!
YTL Education is taking a 20% shareholding in Frog to form a strategic alliance to market Frog in Malaysia and South East Asia. Frog in turn will invest in a joint venture based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and will similarly take a 20% shareholding.
