Fresher's Function At European Management Institute New Delhi
European Management Institute New Delhi recently organized fresher's function on college campus and EMI encourages students to participate proactively in such events.
- (1888PressRelease) December 31, 2010 - European Management Institute (EMI) celebrated Freshers' Function as well as Teacher's Day on 5/9/2010. EMI encourages students to participate proactively in such events to gain organizational skill and develop a habit of team work.
Senior students welcomed the junior batch 2009-2011 through a fun filled evening of skits, song and dance, fashion show with intermittent jokes and smart repartees thrown in, followed by a sumptuous dinner not to mention the non stop flow of cold drinks to keep the energy level high!
Seniors and juniors had a gala time interacting, presenting skits, jokes, performances -dance as well musical ones capped with a shake a leg on the dance floor put on fire by the lively DJ.
Students presented a fashion show. From traditional, bridal to exotic western wear were on display. Komal wore a typical Punjabi bridal dress whereas Muskan, Kritika, Shweta and Harshita put up a trendy show. Surender, Sanjeev, Arpit presented an urban look. Ashutosh chose a funky dress; Mukesh was on his best Lucknowi tehzeeb, in a Sherwani.
Muskan, Kritika and Komal presented dance show. Ankur put up a spirited dance moves. Ashotosh, Muskan, Shweta, Naveen, Surender and Sanjeev presented a management theme oriented skit 'Importance of being positive', Ashu played hubby, Muskan his sprightly wife, Shweta the Barbie doll kid, Sanjeev the mischievous office boy, Surender the corrupt cop and Naveen the tough boss. It was received very well.
Students, Faculty and Staff nominated Mr and Ms Fresher. Surender and Harshita were crowned Mr Fresher and Ms Fresher respectively. Other than Mr and Ms Fresher many awards were presented and each winner was presented with Green Coconut as an innovative accessory with the regular award!
The function ended with sumptuous meal including lip smacking preparations like vegetable pulao, veg Manchurian, burger, noodles, soft drinks, ice cream and delicious Gulab Jamun.
Among officials, the function was attended by The Dean Dr Shweta Maheshwari, faculties Rahul Kaushik, Saurav Banerjee, GM Corporate Relation Savita Ojha, staff members and others.
