  • Phoenix-Mesa, AZ (1888PressRelease) May 10, 2011 - An estimated 22.2 million Americans suffer from addiction. For the countless people who love these addicts, their own lives get turned upside down too. Because of the stigma attached to addiction, families and loved ones learn to hide the problem.

A free workshop for families dealing with addiction will be held on Saturday, June 4, from 11am to 12pm at the Chandler Public Library Downtown Branch.

During this workshop, Lisa Espich, author of "Soaring Above Co-Addiction: Helping your loved one get clean, while creating the life of your dreams", along with her husband Dean Espich (a recovering addict) will share their story of recovery -- offering tools, resources, insight, and hope for those who are currently dealing with the devastating effects of addiction.

"Everyone's story is different", says Espich, "but the disease of addiction seems to cause the same pain, fear, and confusion, regardless of who you are".

The Chandler Public Library Downtown Branch is located at 22 South Delaware Street, in Chandler, Arizona.

For additional information regarding this workshop you can contact the library at (480) 782-2800, or contact Lisa Espich directly at (520) 339-2985
