Site changes at HATCHEDit.com give members even more flexibility in setting privacy controls to share their schedules. Share your schedule with the privacy you want with the flexibility you need.
Our new changes were the direct result of user suggestions for increased flexibility in controlling their own privacy settings
(1888PressRelease) February 08, 2012 - Westfield, New Jersey - We've redesigned your dashboard! Hatchedit.com is proud to announce that active members on the site will notice some of their suggested changes have been incorporated to our design. Multi-taskers now have more tools available via our main dashboard. Personalized homepages now feature feeds from your favorite bloggers, as well as a "quick-jot" to-do list, and a new highlighted groups section for organizing group discussions.
Most importantly, HATCHEDit.com's shareable calendar now allows members even more flexibility in determining what aspects of their schedule they want to share with other members on the site. "We recognize that members are discovering different ways they want to share their calendars with close family and friends on our site. Our new changes were the direct result of user suggestions for increased flexibility in controlling their own privacy settings," says co-Founding Partner Kirsten Bischoff.
Now, when members give permission to someone outside their family account to view their calendar they can limit that permission to specific event types. "For example, if I wanted to give my parents access to my calendar in order to see all of the academic and athletic events that my daughter has I can specify that they only view events I put into those categories." says Kirsten. "That way they can see what is going on and maybe even come to some tennis matches, and I can keep some aspects of my life private."
In addition to the main board changes, Kirsten Bischoff and Megan Brown have also redesigned the pair's own blog "Freshly-Hatched". The pair also hopes to launch the sites iPhone app later this month. The new site changes will be added to the phone apps in coming weeks as well.
