Free Medical Camp conducted by Non-Resident India Doctor Anupama Gotimukala Parlapalli, Timmapur Mandal
On Sunday, AAPI President and NRI Dr. Anupama Gotimukala organized a free Medical Health Check-up Camp in memory of her father Professor Madanmohan Reddy. The camp was attended by a large number of people from Parlapalli in addition to the nearby places.
- (1888PressRelease) January 03, 2022 - On this occasion, Dr. Anupama addressed the people visiting the camp to create awareness about their health. She said people in the country are currently suffering from five major kinds of health issues.
They include mainly Diabetes, Heart ailments, BP, Kidney diseases, and Stroke. She said that taking health precautions is rather better than suffering from the disease. She said that as part of this they are moving forward with their organization’s theme ‘Prevention is better than Cure' to create greater awareness among the people. She stated that more and more women in the country are dying from cervical cancer, and insisted that every single woman should get vaccinated for cervical cancer after a Pap smear test. Further, she said that she is bringing pressure on the governments of India and America to make mammograms, colonoscopies, and blood tests compulsory for everyone who is above 50 years of age. She added that in this process they have adopted 75 villages selected from across the country through their organization under the program 'Adopt a Village', and are providing medical services there. Led by Sarpanch Bharatireddy, Dr. Venkat Reddy, Dr. Vijay Gunaganti, and Global Tele Clinics Director Gunukula Lakshmareddy participated in the medical camp.
