Fraser Valley Truck Parts Promotes Heavy-Duty Truck Parts & Aluminum Rim Polishing with New Website and Trade Shows

- (1888PressRelease) July 09, 2010 - Maple Ridge, BC - Fraser Valley Truck Parts Ltd. (FVTP) today announced the launch of its new website http://www.fraservalleytruckparts.ca. The website is part of FVTP's marketing strategy to promote its used and refurbished heavy-duty truck parts and new robotic aluminum rim polishing service.
"Most of our local clients are familiar with our truck parts retail location at 23302 River Road, Maple Ridge, BC. But over the years, we've had a lot of parts requests from clients outside of the Lower Mainland and the Fraser Valley. So we wanted to develop a new website that would make it easy for those in Kelowna, the US and even Australia to quickly find and view the parts they need online," explained Don MacKenzie, FVTP's Owner.
FVTP contracted print and web communications firm Honeycomb Creative to design the new website. Knowing how important it was for site visitors to find parts quickly, Honeycomb Creative incorporated a searchable parts database into the site's homepage.
"It has never been easier for our clients to find what they need. The new website incorporates a heavy-duty truck parts search front and centre and other easy to find features and functionality, so anything our time-pressed customers need is only a click away," said MacKenzie, "which will ultimately help us sell more truck parts and spread the news about our new rim polishing service."
To promote its new VIS robotic aluminum rim polishing service, located at its Mission facility at 33441 Thompson Ave, Mission, BC, FVTP again worked with Honeycomb Creative to produce promotional print material, including new business cards and doorknockers with detachable coupons, to give away at local transportation industry trade shows.
"With the addition of the robotic rim polishing service, we felt we needed to actively promote both our parts and rim polishing service and distinguish between their different locations," said MacKenzie. "The design of the doorknockers are ideal for this purpose. They slip over a truck's gear shift, reminding clients of both our parts and rim polishing location, and the two-sided detachable coupon included serves as an incentive to come visit us at either our parts location or our rim polishing facility."
Each print material produced, included the website address of FVTP's newly designed site, so that dealers, mechanics, truck owner/operators and others interested in FVTP's heavy-duty truck parts and services could find the site, search the parts database, learn more about robotic aluminum rim or find out about the available dealer and mechanic discounts.
"We really wanted to promote our business using an integrated approach. That's why we decided to develop a new website and print material to reach out to prospective clients online as well as within the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley," said MacKenzie.
Fraser Valley Truck Parts will be attending the Big Rig Weekend at Chilliwack Heritage Park, Chillwack BC, from July 10-11 and Truxpo at the Tradex Centre in Abbotsford, BC, from October1-2. Valley Truck.
