Franchising Association Of India Appoints Amit Nahar as Vice President Southern Council, Opens Office in Bengaluru
Mr C.Y. Pal, President, Franchising Association of India, welcomed Mr Amit Nahar, CEO Sparkleminds Franchise Bazar, A veteran of the Indian Franchise Industry, as Vice President, Southern Council.

Mr Amit Nahar, explained, "The extensive need for reaching out to a large number of franchisers and franchisees seeking support from the association. With over a 1000 franchisers operating presently in India, most of them, need support and guidance during the various phases of the franchise expansion of their business. The association will provide them a ready base of tested and proven solutions, through its members, vendors and suppliers. On the other hand there are several thousand entrepreneurs seeking new franchisees and are not sure of which ones to engage with. The association will work closely with the entire franchising community. It has already been working extensively on the above solutions over the years, but I am sure several new initiatives that will be implemented in the coming months, will further help the budding franchisers and the established ones, and will off-course, ensure that the franchisee seekers will engage with credible franchise companies, who are certified association members."
Speaking upon the need of reaching out to the several franchise mature states of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Pondicherry and Goa, Mr Nahar opined, that it is amongst the most fertile regions for franchising in India. "Tier I Cities like Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kochi have been witnessing tremendous growth, where several international franchises are presently operable along with several master franchises being signed up in these cities. Along with Tier II cities of Coimbatore, Madurai, Trichy, Vizag, Vijaywada, Nellore, Tirupathi, Mysore, Mangalore, Hubli, Calicut & Ernakulam, the southern region of India, is today, amongst the most organized and favorable zones for franchise growth. The association's presence and renewed activities in these cities over a period of time will ensure that we take franchising to the common man and improve their lives and livelihood. We will look to extend our reach to these cities in the coming times as franchising makes inroads into Bharath from India."
