France's La Marquise To Host Emergenza On November 7
Emergenza will bring its rock festival to the La Marquise's stage in Lyon, France on November 7, 2013.
- (1888PressRelease) October 05, 2013 - The La Marquise is an intimate concert hall, a theater, night bar and disco all in one. This houseboat is distinguished from others by an eclectic program. The La Marquise is France's hot spot for emerging bands. It's stage welcomes both amateurs and renowned artists. Whether it be rock, pop, electro, metal, punk or soul the La Marquise is the scene for all music genres.
Emergenza is the world's largest festival for up and coming unsigned bands. It holds concerts in more than 150 cities around the world. It features up and coming bands from across the globe. It has been making rock dreams come true since 1992.There are elimination rounds in different countries throughout the year. Each band takes to the stage for a thirty minute set.The first rounds are judged by the attending audience. The vote is open and the audience can vote as many times as they want and for as many bands as they choose. The final rounds are judged by a jury panel of professional judges.
Each competing bands goal is to win their countries national competition. National winners are flown to Germany at Emergenza's expense to compete in the international finals. The international finals are held each August at the Taubertal Open Air Festival. Bands competing will have the honor of sharing the bill with some of rocks biggest legends. The international winner is crowned the 'Best Band in the World' and wins a tour, promotion, studio time, musical instruments and so much more!
Four bands will take to the La Marquise's stage; alternative indie band Ophelia & the Idealist Band, pop rock band Krack 40, rock band Blue Steppers and rock band Blue Steppers.
