- (1888PressRelease) January 12, 2023 - SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification company, is delighted to host a complimentary webinar, ‘France: New Labeling for Triman and Sorting Information for Softlines Products’ on Tuesday, February 7, 2023.
Manufacturers and retailers of textiles, household linen and footwear products in France will have to respond to the new anti-wastage law, AGEC no. 2020-105 in early 2023. Under this law, published in February 2020, the requirements for the labeling of products covered by the Triman mark have been changed to help consumers make informed decisions about the sorting of waste.
For manufacturers and retailers, the deadline for displaying the new information on their product labeling is February 2023. This webinar will look at the background to the changes, explore the new requirements for Triman labeling, and offer guidance on the support available for businesses, including resources available from SGS.
SGS Global Softlines Expert Valérie Cimetiere will present this webinar and Q&A session. The webinar will be of value for brands, retailers and suppliers importing or selling softlines products on the French market.
