Foxtail Coffee, Bagel Bruno to hold grand opening November 23-24 in College Park
Concept brings together two local businesses for breakfast.
- Orlando, FL (1888PressRelease) November 12, 2019 - Breakfast is served! Foxtail Coffee and Bagel Bruno will hold their grand opening in College Park on Saturday, November 23 and Sunday November 24. The new location is at 3405 Edgewater Drive.
The partnership brings together two Central Florida favorites to deliver two breakfast favorites—bagels and coffee.
The Bagel Bruno concept comes from Bruno Zacchini, the owner of Pizza Bruno in Orlando.
Zacchini made a name for himself in the Orlando food community after opening a food cart, Bruno’s Bites, helping to open Cask & Larder, and of course, through Pizza Bruno.
The bagels are called “Orlando Style” bagels. They are naturally leavened, hearth baked, and boiled in a dark brown sugar, rather than honey, as a nod to the classic Montreal style. The bagels are also vegan.
Bagels are available on their own, but they are also used in Foxtail Coffee’s classic breakfast sandwiches. Bagels are available daily until sold out.
“These bagels are based on tradition, just like our pizzas at Pizza Bruno,” Zacchini said. “We’re proud of the finished product and can’t wait for people to taste a new side of the food they’ve come to love from the Bruno concepts.”
The location also serves up Foxtail’s locally roasted coffee and hand-crafted beverages, as well as beer and wine. It features a classic Foxtail style with reclaimed wood and industrial accents, perfect for getting some work done or catching up with friends.
The partnership is the latest of several collaborations with local brands for Foxtail. The brand serves DG Doughnuts from its Lee Road location and shares space with vegan eatery Leguminati at the Hourglass District location. Foxtail also recently started serving Florida-grown Yaupon Holly tea from Yaupon Brothers at all locations.
“Pizza Bruno is a local favorite, and Foxtail is a local business,” said Alex Tchekmeian, Foxtail’s co-founder. “We couldn’t be more excited to see this partnership come to life and to serve up amazing bagels and coffee in College Park.”
