'Let's turn obesity around' is the theme for The National Obesity Awareness Week 2014. A new campaign to promote the events will be conducted by integrated agency Fox.

(1888PressRelease) December 04, 2013 - Integrated marketing agency Fox Communications has been appointed to create branding and marketing communications for the National Obesity Awareness Week 2014.
The promotional campaign - 'Let's turn obesity around' - will be delivered on behalf of the National Obesity Forum with the ultimate aim of raising awareness of the impact of obesity in UK. The week-long event begins on 13th January 2014 and incorporates the world's biggest New Year's resolution.
Supporters and sponsors of the campaign include Disney, Cambridge Weight Loss, Heart Research UK, National Obesity Forum, Focus on Food, The Whitehouse Consultancy, HENRY (Health Exercise Nutrition for the Really Young), Fox Communications and parenting author Annabel Karmel.
As well as full branding, Fox Communications will create campaign communications including website, sponsorship materials and social media management. The initial stage of the website is now live at www.noaw2014.org.uk Visitors will soon be able to search the site for events that will be happening in their area in National Obesity Awareness Week.
The campaign also involves a schools healthy recipe competition sponsored by campaign sponsor Disney that will include the winner attending a reception hosted by Samantha Cameron at 10 Downing Street.
Professor David Haslam, Chairman of the National Obesity Forum said,
"We appointed Fox due to its widespread experience in cause related marketing. Although the official event lasts a week, the awareness campaign has now begun and will continue throughout 2014. We believe that the mix of high visibility online and offline initiatives will ensure that our campaign reaches its objectives of creating increased health and obesity awareness in the UK"
