"Every year, this event gets bigger and better," said Blaine East, one of the event's volunteer coordinators. "Last year, we had more than 10,000 people from not just the local region but from surrounding states, come to have a great time. This year's attendees will enjoy an even more festival-like atmosphere since we are able to close the streets. People will be able to walk around and mill in the street, so it will be a lot more wide open than in previous years."
Tickets for the Apex Music & Jazz Festival are only $10 per person, which includes entry to all venues during the event. Tickets can be purchased in advance at apexjazzfestival.com, and will also be available at the door. For directions and parking information, please visit apexjazzfestival.com.
