Four Seasons Aspen completes large landscaping project for Aspen Skiing Company in the Snowmass Base Village and other landscape projects in Aspen
FOUR SEASONS has been creating and improving landscapes in the Roaring Fork Valley for over 20 years establishing a reputation as 'experts in landscape construction and has recently completed large jobs for the Aspen Skiing Company, several large custom homes and commercial projects in downtown Aspen.
- (1888PressRelease) April 11, 2013 - Snowmass Base Village: Coming off of a successful re-vegetation project for Base Village, that included extensive seeding and erosion control, Four Seasons completed a landscape installation for Building 7 Base Village in the Fall of 2013. Working closely with the General Contractor, Four Seasons scopes of work included seed bed preparation, amended top soil importation and grading, seeding, erosion control, irrigation, transplanting existing large trees, planting new large trees, stone retaining walls and planting of shrubs and perennials. The job was completed in the Fall with early snow proving to be challenge for scheduling around other scopes of work. Four Seasons work was completed on time and under budget with a credit applied back to the owner.
Aspen Red Butte Dr: New custom spec home scheduled for completion in the early spring of 2014 saw Four Season work closely with the developer to develop a schedule for landscape installation around the completion of the construction. Essentially the2013 Fall work involved planting large trees, spruce, pinion and aspen, to give some volume to the landscape enabling winter prospective buyers to get a feel for the property, while also allowing room on the site for the construction to continue. The spring of 2014 will see planting bed preparation, irrigation installation, fine grading, perennial and shrub installation
Aspen Cooper St Commercial Building Roof Top installation: Coordination and scheduling of crane, drainage material, soil delivery, plant material with traffic control with the general contractor were the highlights of this installation. The irrigation design required incorporating glass panels on the roof top, making sure that they were not spayed during irrigating while ensuring that all the roof top planters received adequate water. Four Seasons completed this work on time and on budget.
Glenwood Springs: Sod installation at the high school sporting field. Remove existing sod cleanup, prep, fine grade and lay sod. With only days before the first home game Four Seasons was awarded the work. Despite the tight schedule, and due to the commitment of the Four Seasons installation team, the work was completed on time.
Starwood Aspen: Ongoing new home construction. Installation of large aspen, 20'-25'spruce trees and the re-vegetation of native areas with established native plant material. Four Seasons has partnered with the General Contractor to install the landscape of this property as directed by the home owner. Design of the landscape is by the home owner, as construction continues Four Seasons works with both the home owner and general contractor to determine what scopes of work should be done so as to get the most from the plantings while not interrupting construction.
