Four Renowned Experts To Hold Intelligent Guide For Divorce Workshop
2-night workshop offers overview of the divorce process from legal, financial, mental health and parenting perspectives.
- Newark, NJ (1888PressRelease) February 28, 2019 - Diana M. Longo, CDFA, Mara Dooskin, Esq., Wendi L. Dumbroff, MA, LPC, and Loyla Louvis, AACC, are presenting a comprehensive workshop on many aspects of the divorce process. This is a not to be missed opportunity for anyone contemplating or is in the crisis of separation or divorce.
The Intelligent Guide for Divorce™ workshop will give an overview of what to expect when it comes to divorce. Questions such as ‘Are you ready to divorce? What are the best first steps? How can you safeguard your kids? Your rights? Your future?,’ will be addressed by multiple experts.
This interactive workshop will be held two nights, March 28th and April 4th, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at James Caldwell High School, 265 Westville Ave, Rm 206, West Caldwell. On the presenting panel will be a family law attorney, certified divorce financial analyst, mental health professional and certified parenting coach. Topics at the workshop include but are not limited to deciding if you’re ready for divorce, the processes and legalities of divorce, financial mistakes, the new tax laws, spousal and child support, helping your children adjust, and retirement and post-divorce issues. The workshop will end with a panel discussion which will cover attendee’s questions including before, after and during divorce.
Diana Longo is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™ and founder of Innovative Divorce Services LLC who provides solutions for those in the crisis of divorce. She assists clients throughout the divorce process as a Professional Mediator and as a Divorce Financial Planner. At times, she assists clients in determining if they can even afford to divorce.
Mara Dooskin is a family attorney at Weinberger Divorce & Family Law Group, LLC. She’s a highly skilled professional who protects her clients’ rights and safeguards their futures. As a child of divorce herself, Ms. Dooksin has a unique perspective into the divorce process, especially when child custody is involved. She understands how difficult the divorce process can be for everyone in the family and the potential for long-lasting implications when not handled well. Ms. Dooskin zealously represents her clients, while always putting their needs first.
Wendi L. Dumbroff is a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice in Madison, NJ. She is a highly trained family and couple therapist. There are many issues for which families and couples may decide to come to therapy such as; divorce, family conflict, parenting issues, the discovery of a family secret, mental illness and/or substance use and numerous other possible reasons. Ms. Dumbroff provides a safe, non-judgmental environment for her clients and, when appropriate, incorporates the techniques of mindfulness into her practice.
Loyla Louvis, AACC, Certified Parenting and Life Coach, is founder of Mothers In Training, LLC, located in Upper Montclair. She offers valuable parenting insights, tools, and support through private office or Skype sessions, Sunday parenting classes, public speaking and through her writing as a columnist. Experienced with divorce, single parenting, and remarriage, Coach Loyla’s approach comes from the perspective that every family situation is different and requires customized strategies to create richer bonds of connection.
