Founder Chanell Ketchmore Announces Ketchmore Kids 2020 Program Guide
Ketchmore announced the details of the 2020 Ketchmore Kids Program Guide, which includes “Healing With Hip-Hop" Hip-Hop Therapy, “Triple P” Positive Parenting Program, “WE ARE”, and the all new “DA CROWN” SERIES and KIDS ZUMBA. “I am very excited to share our 2020 program lineup,” said Chanell Ketchmore. “We dug in and further refined some of our most popular programs, adding 2 new offerings.

Building on the strengths that all parents have, and teaching parents new skills by recognizing that no child comes with an instructional manual. We offer various levels of Triple P (Levels 2-Level 5), all of which have diverse benefits, and help provide a program that can be catered to meet the unique needs of each parent and family. Ideally, services may last anywhere from between 4-16 weeks, depending on the specific level of services that you participate in.
*Healing with Hip Hop
AVAILABLE IN NC AND VA
Using hip-hop music and culture to work with youth who are/have experienced trauma related to losing a loved one to violence. A non-cookie cutter approach to therapeutic support services that helps youth manage the feelings, emotions, and behaviors associated with trauma. Individual and group services available.
*WE ARE Leadership Development Program

This program started in Hampton,Virginia, is now also being offered in Newport News, and stands for "Working to Empower thru: Arts, Rethink, and Engagement. WE ARE is a collaboration between Ketchmore Kids, The Abu Unity Foundation, and SANITY 2.0. This program merges the arts, critical thinking, and basic financial information, while helping youth tap into their full potential.
Coming Soon this year:
“DA CROWN” SERIES-This program will help young Kings and Queens, ages 17-21, step into their crowns, by learning how to effectively communicate with each other in positive ways, even while tackling tough topics.
KIDS ZUMBA-Active, engaging Zumba classes specifically designed for youth 12 years old and under. In addition to fitness fun, our diversity of music in these classes will help children learn interesting facts about countries across the world.
