Forum Gathering Industry Experts to Discuss Sustainable Growth of the Saudi Power & Water Industries
Industry experts from the Saudi power and water industries are confirmed to speak at the 9th Saudi Water & Power Forum & Exhibition (SWPF), taking place 1-3 December 2013 at the Jeddah Hilton, Saudi Arabia, in partnership with Moya Bushnak and on behalf of the Ministry of Water & Electricity.

Energy consumption in Saudi Arabia is witnessing an unprecedented growth, prompting a wave of investments expected to reach $133 billion for power generation and water projects over the next decade. Saudi Arabia is expected to run out of crude oil for export by 2030, due to growing energy demands, domestically and internationally combined with rising oil prices. Saudi Arabia plans to cover 20% of electricity needs through nuclear energy and transform its renewable grid from 0% to 100% renewable resources. SWPF will be addressing the key challenges and opportunities that will be associated with these developments being implemented and seek to provide solutions for the successful sustainable development of the power and water sectors, through in-depth discussions.
