Fortunate Youth And Embark Music Partner
Reggae/dub band Fortunate Youth has partnered with Embark Music to bring their latest album, "Fortunate Youth Dub Collections Vol. 1", to international portals.

Their fourth album, "Fortunate Youth Dub Collections Vol. 1" is currently #56 on the Top 100 Reggae/Dub on Beatport due to Embark Music marketing and servicing the release to international "distributors", in order to spread their music and broaden their fan base.
Fortunate Youth just finished up their most recent tour, "It's All A Jam" this Spring, ending in Santa Ana, California. While on tour, Fortunate Youth released, "Fortunate Youth Dub Collections Vol. 1" their latest album on April 20th, 2014 to iTunes pre-orders and April 21st, 2014, everywhere. FY will continue to tour throughout the Summer while promoting their new dub album. They are featured in festival lineups such as Wakarusa, Reggae in the Hills, and Reggae Rise Up.
Selected last year for the Grammy Awards, Best Reggae Album Shortlist the group found their-selves being considered alongside the likes of Ziggy Marley and Beres Hammond. Being selected is an accomplishment in itself, showing the band's quick success in the four short years of being together. Following the iTunes #1 success of their third album, "It's All A Jam", "Fortunate Youth Dub Collections Vol. 1" has already garnered major acclaim. Debuting at #1 on the iTunes charts, the album has received impressive reviews. Along with the iTunes charts, the album cracked the top ten on the Billboard's Reggae Album Chart, peaking at an impressive #3.
The release of Fortunate Youth's latest album has found promising success and they plan for it to only grow. This is not the first time the two have partnered up. Embark Music internationally distributed the"Irie State Of Mind" release and reps the band in sync licensing for Retail, Media and Film & TV licensing. Recently, Embark Music was selected as the official record label for Elite Model Look Singapore, a prestigious fashion show that has launched the careers of many successful models. Embark Music then released a compilation of it's songs, used for Elite Model TV show fashion show that was broadcast live on TV5 out of Singapore, entitled "Elite Model Compilation".
