Fortis inaugurates International Oncology Centre in Noida
Fortis International oncology center, the first in a planned series of new cancer treatment centers aimed at improving access to advanced treatments for millions of Indian cancer patients has been officially opened in Noida on June 15, 2010.
- (1888PressRelease) August 01, 2010 - Fortis Hospital inaugurated the Fortis International Oncology Centre in Noida to provide patients with the best medical treatment and advanced patient care.
The centre which has bone marrow and stem cell transplant facility of international standards is equipped to provide the most excellent treatment in medical oncology, radiation therapy and surgical oncology.
Montek Singh Ahluwalia inaugurated the Fortis International Oncology Centre and stated, "the state of the art centre will provide the best cancer care to patients under its distinguished team of oncologists."
The new centre includes the latest radiation equipment from Varian Medical Systems, an open PET CT scan for diagnostic purposes and a medical oncology daycare and anti-neoplastic drug delivery setup.
