Former White House Chef to Consult Exclusively for OC's White House Catering
Chef Under Clinton & Bush To Collaborate With Master Chef Maurice Brazier for OC Functions.
- Orange County, CA (1888PressRelease) June 16, 2015 - Ever wonder what the food is like at the White House - the one in our nation's Capitol? Wonder no more as Walter S. Scheib III, the White House executive chef from 1994 until 2005, joins Master Chef Maurice Brazier, who with partner Amine Aghamir oversee the business, to help operate White House Catering. Scheib will work alongside Brazier to expand and modify the menu which he said will rely on select artisan cheese makers, green grocers, mushroom foragers, master bread bakers, fishermen, ranchers and farmers.
Scheib was handpicked by Hillary Clinton after the then-First Lady experienced the comprehensive spa menu he developed for Greenbrier Resort. He served as executive chef during the Clinton administration and continued his service into George W. Bush's second term in office. For more than a decade, he prepared everything from simple family meals to elaborate and formal State Dinners. His culinary creations dazzled and delighted White House guests including Nelson Mandela, Emperor Aikihito, Jacques Chirac, Boris Yeltsin, Vaclav Havel, Lady Diana Spencer, Tony Blair, Vicente Fox, and others, not to mention the thousands of congressional members, journalists, and other House visitors who got to know his food.
"I am delighted to join Mr. Scheib in taking White House Catering to the next level," said Brazier, who himself has received many awards and accolades through the years including the title of Chevalier du Merit National by French President Francois Mitterrand for his lifelong dedication to the art of French cuisine.
Added Aghamir, "With these two internationally recognized giants at the helm, I can equivocally say that White House Catering is Orange County's finest caterer."
