Former Music Radio Personality's Urgent Self-Help Crowdfunder Gains Views, Pledges, Stalls, Seeks Catalyst at 'Rock The Post'
Confronting his mid-life crossroads crisis and needing a BOOST to make the second half of his life better than the first half turned-out and be able to mentor others, Jimi Bruce candidly seeks social/crowdfunding help to make his goals, including marriage to his inspirational Ukrainian soul-mate into reality before it is "too late" time-wise and attention-span wise.
- (1888PressRelease) March 05, 2012 - Launched February 19, 2012, the urgent self-help project campaign by veteran former music radio personality Jimi Bruce gained significant and consistent "views", a few pledges and then the money momentum seemed to stall after Friday, February 24th when its social-funding platform, Rock The Post, "featured [his] post on [their] social media pages, as [they] believe it is "worthy of being called out". Comments such as "inspiring" were and still are posted frequently about it online.
"Let's Rock $7,000 by St. Patrick's Day!", Bruce implored on his impassioned pitch video that introduces his project at http://www.rockthepost.com/posts/view/176/Help-Me-Build-A-Second-Chance. As of this update, the project has only garnered approximately $250.00 towards that goal in U.S. dollars and Euros.
There are six levels of rewards in-return for pledges ranging from ten dollars ($10.00) for a personalized "Thank You" card, e-card and other novelties to him offering his Mitsubishi Eclipse "in great shape" automobile and a dinner in New York City with the him and his fiancee`. "With almost eight-hundred views already, we are getting too much 'window-shopping'..." Bruce analyses. "If all of those people just pledged ten dollars, my self-help project would already be funded and moving forward!"
Finding it next-to impossible to obtain a personal loan in Nashville even with a "very good credit rating", Mr. Bruce's effort is to bring his financial life back to the "middle sea-level" after a prolonged period of unemployment caused by the virtual disappearance of live announcers on radio during the evening and overnight hours, which was his specialty for almost forty years.
He said, "The open comments are very, very encouraging; maybe this time is the charm!" His summary is very readable on the Rock The Post site and explains his reasons in-detail. His campaign runs until late March, 2012.
My Registry.com has also partnered with Jimi, providing an online certificate to make cash gifts towards his wedding to "Nina", his Ukrainian fiancee` easier to make. He request all curious to call IMIJ Produckshunz for more details.
