Former Athlete Launching First Automated Tech Solution to Improve Credit Scores
Fintech startup DisputeDoc, founded by Ronnie Cropper, is a self-service platform for fixing credit; Ronnie will be joining the Google For Entrepreneurs Exchange: Black Founders program.
- Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) August 31, 2017 - Jay Z has everyone talking about credit but there’s a startup that is about to make it easier to improve yours. Former professional athlete and entrepreneur, Ronnie Cropper, is set to launch an automated solution for consumers to quickly and easily handle credit disputes and improve credit scores. DisputeDoc is a first of its kind, web-based platform that will save consumers hundreds of dollars in lawyer and credit repair fees.
Credit repair is an issue that many Americans are facing. Nearly 20% of the U.S. population has a credit score under 600 and many in this category are frustrated by the flaws in the credit repair industry. Through DisputeDoc, consumers will have access to an easy-to-use process to make credit disputes for themselves.
“We’ve created a product that is finally going to allow consumers to take control of their credit,” stated Ronnie Cropper, Founder of DisputeDoc.
Cropper has proven successful with over a decade in finance under his belt, raising over $25M in capital for small businesses and assisting in improving the financial health for high net worth individuals, the latter of which led him to identify the need for DisputeDoc.
“Growing up with a much different lifestyle than the individuals I was serving, I saw how a similar approach could be applied to help those Americans truly in need,” continued Cropper.
Similar to the narrative of many African-American men in the U.S., Cropper did not have the support or mentorship early on in his life. He regretfully dropped out of high school despite numerous scholarship offers to play basketball and retired from professional sports after five years of a basketball career in Italy. A series of events led him into finance where he flourished. As now a serial entrepreneur and financial expert, Cropper hopes his story will impact others, while his company will be able to help millions towards financial empowerment.
DisputeDoc will be launching in beta in 30-45 days but consumers can sign up and learn more at www.disputedoc.com.
