- Salinas, CA (1888PressRelease) April 10, 2013 - Shake, Rattle and Roll your way through 2013 at Hyatt Carmel Highlands Sunset Lounge ! The cocktail series at the Sunset Lounge at the Hyatt Carmel Highlands Overlooking Big Sur Coast, located at 120 Highlands Drive in Carmel, is a three-part series of hands-on workshops led by the Sunset Lounges enthusiastic and highly experienced mixologist. Each course is limited to just 24 participants, allowing for an intimate exploration of the course topics and an opportunity to craft and critique drinks. Classes take place at the Sunset Lounge on the upper level by the fireplace and feature snacks prepared by Pacific's Edge.
Each workshop will conclude with an R&D session for a cocktail that will run at the restaurant the following week. Participants leave with a variety of take-away items, including recipe and sourcing cards--as well as produce and aromatics appropriate to the course topic.
In the series' second class is Wednesday, April 17th beginning at 6:00 p.m. The Sunset Lounge will kick things off by teaching participants about Cucumber Martinis, Mojitos and Whiskey Smash. Reservations are required (831) 622-5445. The cost is $55 for one class, per participant, $100 for any two classes or $140 for all three classes plus tax and gratuity.
