Fontbonne Names Vice President for Institutional Advancement
Fontbonne University welcomes Kitty Nangle Lohrum as the newest VP for institutional advancement.
- St. Louis, MO-IL (1888PressRelease) March 31, 2015 - Fontbonne University has named Kitty Nangle Lohrum vice president for institutional advancement, effective March 30.
"Kitty brings great experience and enthusiasm for advancement work and a strong understanding of and commitment to our mission," said J. Michael Pressimone, Fontbonne's president. "Being a native St. Louisan, she has a solid network in the area which will be a key element in advancing supportive relationships with our community."
Lohrum, who most recently served as a development director at Saint Louis University, will oversee all aspects of fundraising, including annual giving, major gifts, planned giving and campaign planning. She'll also oversee alumni relations and provide support for the Fontbonne Community Connection, the Council of Regents and the Board of Trustees.
"I am honored to join the Fontbonne team," Lohrum said. "My great aunt and my mother are alumnae; so while I may be new to Fontbonne, Fontbonne is not new to me. I look forward to serving the community and collaborating in the fulfillment of the mission to educate students to think critically, to act ethically and to assume responsibility as citizens and leaders."
Lohrum earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Psychology and Kinesiology from Regis University in Denver, Colo., in 2000, and a Master of Arts in Leadership and Organizational Development from Saint Louis University in 2012.
Fontbonne University is a Catholic coeducational institution of higher education offering undergraduate and graduate degrees in the liberal arts and professional studies, as well as evening and online programs for working adults.
