Focus Adventure, India organizes a treasure hunt cum heritage trip as part of the team building program for a global management consulting firm in Delhi.
- (1888PressRelease) May 20, 2012 - Focus Adventure, India a leading experiential corporate learning programs provider, had organized a unique team building event for a global management consulting firm in Delhi. The event encapsulated the right mix of fun, play and sharing of information.
The consulting firm had called for a worldwide meet of its partners in New Delhi to give them firsthand information about the emerging nations which have lately become the breeding ground for businesses.
The group comprised more of foreigners than Indians and therefore the biggest challenge for Focus Adventure was to plan out an optimum team building program that excites, intrigues, and at the same time successfully communicates the client's goal.
A treasure Hunt cum heritage trip was organized for the group as part of the team building exercise. Delhi, the capital city of India, is blessed with countless heritage sites and hence such a novel idea was put into action. Focus adventure arranged for a team building workshop that was interwoven around "The Incredible Race" format.
A fast-paced team building event was planned that challenged the teams to work and race together in unity to cover as much number of points as they could. The event was a mixture of exciting fun activities like completing challenges, solving clues and finishing several tasks as the participants move from one point to other. Small teams were formed with a task to navigate a particular route through 8 locations in and around Delhi. The idea behind this whole travel cum treasure hunt was to give the participants a dekko into the capital and historic city of India.
Focus adventure planned the navigation as such that the teams visited key heritage sites including Humayun Tomb, Lodi Garden, India Gate, Safdarjung Tomb, National Museum, JantarMantar, Rail Museum & DilliHaat. As they moved from one destination to other cracking clues via advanced GPS devices, the participants were faced with several challenges on their way. This included getting mehendi on their palms, playing Indian tunes on flutes etc. These all activities made the team building event a hugely engaging and effective one.
