Flame Broiler Launches Online Ordering, Redesigned Eco-friendly Bowls And Kimchi
Korean-Inspired Fast Casual Dining Concept Incorporates New Tech, Menu Item and Packaging.
- Santa Ana-Anaheim-Irvine, CA (1888PressRelease) January 07, 2021 - Flame Broiler, popular for serving delicious, healthy Korean-inspired bowls with honest, simple ingredients, is proud to debut its online ordering, eco-friendly bowls and kimchi.
When it comes to ordering food from restaurants, customers want accessibility, flexibility and convenience. Flame Broiler’s online ordering platform addresses this need. Born from the restaurant’s innovative use of QR codes during the pandemic, Flame Broiler designed an online ordering platform that is currently available at over 60 of its restaurants. Additional locations will adopt the new technology in the coming year.
“While we love serving customers food in our restaurant, the pandemic has made that challenging. Flame Broiler is aggressively looking for ways to get our healthy food into the hands of more people, and online ordering is one more way to reach people wherever they are – at home or on the go,” said Daniel Lee, Head of Brand Technology at Flame Broiler. “Our online ordering platform gives the customer the freedom to order a delicious meal whenever and wherever they want.”
Flame Broiler is thrilled to partner with BOTTLEBOX to create eco-friendly containers for every restaurant. The lid of each bowl is constructed with recycled water bottles, and the base is made with 100% recyclable plastic. Bettering the planet is a goal that every company should have, and by making this change, Flame Broiler will reuse 10.1 million recycled bottles annually, which is equivalent to saving about 316,000 pounds of CO2 from entering the atmosphere.
“Flame Broiler’s purpose is to live and work for the restoration of holistic health in the world. This is an intentional mindset. We want to help the health of the planet, and by switching to BOTTLEBOX bowls, 235,000 pounds of plastic will be saved from the landfills,” said Young Lee, CEO and Founder of Flame Broiler.
Flame Broiler’s core menu features bowls that are high in protein and appeal to a wide range of diets. The bowls are made with non-GMO white or brown rice, Angus beef, NAE chicken or organic charbroiled tofu, fresh vegetables, and topped with chopped green onions. For an added flavor kick, guests are invited to top bowls off with Flame Broiler’s proprietary hot sauce, double hot sauce, triple hot sauce, Korean BBQ-inspired Simply Magic Sauce, and now, Kimchi that is sourced directly from South Korea! Made with traditional ingredients like napa cabbage, radish, garlic, onion and ginger, Flame Broiler’s Kimchi will add an extra dimension of flavor to the delicious plates and bowls people already love.
“We are always ideating on ways to innovate and bring fun, delectable new flavors to our menu,” said Lee. "Kimchi is a staple Korean food. Now, customers can enhance their bowls with the umami flavor of our tangy, spicy Kimchi.”
The Kimchi and redesigned eco-friendly bowls are available at nearly all Flame Broiler locations across the United States. For more information on Flame Broiler and their menu options, please visit www.flamebroilerusa.com.
