About Flag Lady Gifts: Established in 1992 by Jan Hartman, Flag Lady Gifts has transformed its current location from a run-down pub to a store with gorgeous window displays and landscaping, as well as the largest US flag in the area. Hartman began her business by designing and stitching decorative banners at home and selling them at the local holiday fairs. In 1993, she opened a small store in Spread Eagle Village to sell gifts and flags. A few years down the line, the shop had outgrown the space, which led to relocation to the current two-level shop in 2001.
