Recognized for Safety, Quality and Patient Care.
- Denver, CO (1888PressRelease) November 24, 2015 - Today, HealthONE announced that five of its hospitals - North Suburban Medical Center, Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center, Rose Medical Center, Sky Ridge Medical Center and Swedish Medical Center - were named Top Performer on Key Quality Measures® by The Joint Commission, the leading accreditor of health care organizations in America.
These HealthONE hospitals earned the distinction of Top Performer on Key Quality Measures for attaining and sustaining excellence in accountability measure performance. The ratings are based on an aggregation of accountability measure data reported to The Joint Commission during the 2014 calendar year.
"This is a distinction we are incredibly proud of," said Sylvia Young, CEO of HealthONE and HCA's Continental Division, "because it validates our commitment to improving the quality of life, every day through the work we do at our hospitals. The Joint Commission distinction is a testament to the efforts of our physicians and staff that provide the highest level of care and service to our patients."
This is the fifth year that The Joint Commission has recognized hospitals with this distinction, and North Suburban Medical Center and Rose Medical Center have each been honored every year of the program. This is the fourth year that Sky Ridge Medical Center has been recognized, the third year for Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center and the second year for Swedish Medical Center.
In addition to being included in this year's release of The Joint Commission's "Improving Quality and Safety" annual report, Rose, Presbyterian/St. Luke's, North Suburban, Sky Ridge and Swedish have been recognized on The Joint Commission's Quality Check website.
