Fishs Eddy, a popular destination for Dinnerware & Glassware was recently featured in the LA times for their innovative floorplan dinnerware.
New York, NY (1888PressRelease) September 19, 2009 - A recent feature article about Fishs Eddy, a well-known destination for exciting dinnerware and glassware, profiled their latest design called Floorplan. This unique pattern comes in a variety of graphic black and white squares and rectangles depicting various urban floor plans such as a penthouse, a studio, a railroad flat and a duplex. The pattern includes matching linens, mugs, coasters and a tote. It’s edgy tag line reads, “Why rent when you can own?”
All of the Floorplan designs have been drawn to scale and display numerous detailed attributes including curved staircases, kitchen appliances and even floor tiling. The Floorplan dishes are stackable which is much easier to store compared to numerous other styles in the marketplace. This is the perfect pattern for anyone who wants a table setting unlike anything else available in table top.
The Floorplan Collection was developed by Fishs Eddy’s imaginative design team. For those of you who may not know, Fishs Eddy is a popular table top and house wares store sandwiched between Manhattans historical Flatiron District and Union Square. The area is well-recognized for its wide assortment of retailers and restaurants.
Julie Gaines, one of the owners of Fishs Eddy, and Sara Mills, are part of a design team who work together to create dinnerware assortments with iconic appeal. Fishs Eddy “wares” are fun, eclectic and great for everyday use. All of the dishes and glasses that come out of Fishs Eddy are dishwasher and microwave safe.
