According to Nielsen SoundScan, an industry leader in research, tracking, and sales trends, despite a drop in consumer spending for music over the past decade, sales in the music industry are up slightly.
In fact, sales of complete albums, the industry's most profitable product, reached 330.6 million in the United States last year, a 1.3 percent increase from 2010.
In addition, 1.27 billion individual tracks were downloaded in the United States last year, up 8.5 percent from the year before, and sales of complete digital albums reached 103.1 million, a 19.5 percent gain from 2010.
Morelli noted that his studio consists of a team of professionals who specialize in a variety of areas, giving the studio the ability to supply each client with every aspect of a project.
