First of Sussex Toastmasters to Compete in Area Speech Contest
First of Sussex Toastmasters Club Members in Sparta, NJ to showcase
their speech skills September 19th at Area Contest in Denville, NJ.
- (1888PressRelease) September 12, 2013 - First of Sussex Toastmasters club Humorous Speech and Table Topics contests winners Phil Sweet and Wayne Rossi will compete with four other Toastmasters club contest winners from northern New Jersey on Thursday, September 19th, 6 p.m. at Denville Community Church, 190 Diamond Spring Road, Denville, New Jersey. There will be two more rounds of exciting contests leading up to the District Contest at the Toastmasters District 83 Conference at the Crown Plaza in Edison, NJ on November 9th.
First of Sussex Toastmasters Club is a local chapter of Toastmasters International, a non-profit leadership and communication development organization devoted to creating effective leaders and communicators worldwide. Toastmasters clubs offer a supportive and positive learning environment where members are empowered to learn the arts of speaking, listening and thinking skills to improve self-confidence, enhance communication skills, and develop leadership potential.
Guests are invited to attend the upcoming free speech contests, as well as First of Sussex Toastmasters regular meetings every 4th Tuesday, 6:45 pm at The First Presbyterian Church of Sparta Annex, 32 Main Street (behind "The Flower Box") in Sparta Township, New Jersey, 07871.
