(1888PressRelease) June 07, 2012 - Tyler, TX - Firearm Security Racks Inc. maker of the Gun-Cuff TM wall mount locking gun racks (http://www.lockinggunracks.com) has made some changes to its 3-gun and 9-gun locking rifle and shotgun racks.

These gun racks are made of metal and dipped coated with a vinyl coating to protect all guns while locked inside the gun rack.

The previous design of the 9-gun rifle/shotgun rack included seven shallow stalls to accommodate guns in or out of gun socks (sleeves) and two deeper stalls (one located at each end of the gun rack) for guns in soft gun cases. It also had two center guides that the locking bar passed through.

The new design of the 9-gun rifle rack eliminated the two deeper stalls and made all shallow stalls to hold 9 rifles and shotguns in or out of gun socks (sleeves). Also, the new improved design eliminated the center guides that the flat locking bar passed through making it easier to retreive all firearms.

The previous 3-gun and 9-gun locking gun rack designs also had a 1/4 x 3/4 inch steel, flat, locking bar that passed through the two 1/8 inch thick holes that were cut in each end of the 1/8 inch thick frame.

The new and improved designs of both gun racks replaced the 1/4 x 3/4 inch steel, flat, locking bar with stronger 5/8 inch thick solid steel, round locking bar to make it more secure.

Another added feature to both gun racks that increases the security substantially was replacing the 1/8 inch thick metal holes located in each end of the old design gun rack's metal frame with 1/2 inch solid steel, round holes welded to the new designed gun rack's frame.
