FImA Announces Medicolegal Workshop 2014
For the 1st time, the entire workshop on Medicolegal aspects is going to be directly webcast online so that doctors all over the country can benefit from it.
- (1888PressRelease) February 08, 2014 - Bangalore - The program starts at 9:00 AM with a welcome address by Dr. Shobha Gud, Secretary, BSOG and will have sessions on Application of laws in obstetrics and discussion on Legal hassles and hurdles. Dr Gopinath Shenoy from Mumbai and Mr Mohan from Bangalore will be the medico- legal experts supported by experienced faculty from BSOG(Bangalore Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology).
Fetal Imaging Academy(FImA) is dedicated to providing world class training in fetal imaging techniques and diagnosis of fetal anomalies. FImA brings together specialists in fetal imaging from across the globe under one umbrella to provide a combination of face to face training coupled with self-paced online curriculum with faculty assessment in a blended leaning format.
The workshop on Medicolegal aspects is fantastic mixture of various aspects of medical practice, understanding the PCPNDT act and its implications, importance of communication and documentation and finally rounded off with "moot courts". It is certainly going to be a very exciting seminar with lot of audience participation.
With over a hundred million yearly births worldwide and nearly thirty million in India alone, our goal is to bring about a significant improvement in the standards of fetal imaging, early detection of fetal anomalies and in understanding management issues based on current scientific evidence.
All training material is reviewed by the officers of the advisory board who define, moderate and administrate the polices of FImA. This includes the selection and invitation of additional faculty members to provide training and other materials on platform.
