"If" tells the story of Dougie, an African American high school senior, who is mysteriousl transported from today to the south of 1864 where he is captured and forced into slavery.
Dougie is a very intelligent young man but believes the American slaves were weak to have been made captive for so long. He also has a low opinion of African immigrants in the US.

As an independent producer Vince Bowman does some unusual things to market his movie campaign to bring awareness to his project and raise money.

Vince has less than 20 days to raise $50,000 and he is determined to reach his funding goals.
