Fierce Comics to Exhibit at New York Comic Con
Fierce Comics Announces Participation in Largest Popular Culture Convention on the East Coast.
- Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, FL (1888PressRelease) June 22, 2011 - Fierce Comics today announced the company's attendance at the 2011 New York Comic Con, held October 13-16, at the Javits Center in Midtown Manhattan. The event is the second largest comic book and pop culture event in the country, with last year's convention attracting over 96,000 attendees.
"Fierce has grown to a point where larger shows outside of Florida are beginning to make more sense for us," said Ben Filipiak, Fierce Comics' Publisher. "This will allow us to get in front of a lot of fans that we don't normally see. We're all very excited about it."
The company will be located in booth 3141 of the small press area of the convention, directly across from the artist guests. The company's existing titles, Redneck Red and The Maniacal Smile will be available in both comic book and trade paperback format and efforts are underway to launch a new title at the convention.
