Fete For Daring New Novel Draws Celebrities, Supports Growing Cause
Red Light Promotions hosts launch party for first time novelist Elle's release of The Fall, boasting a live musical performance from Cause and Effect's Rowe while supporting nonprofit Break The Cycle.

At least, it does in the thrilling new fictionalized memoir The Fall: An Autobiography of an Alter Ego from author Elle, who will be celebrating its release this Saturday in style thanks to Red Light Promotions.
One doesn't have to look past this week's headlines - Rihanna and Chris Brown, Ochocinco and Evelyn, Kelly Rowland - to recognize the prevalence of dating abuse. The Fall is a cautionary tale that explores dependencies, disorders, and domestic abuse from the vantage point of a young girl who at times must separate from herself entirely to endure, and the novel has already received critical acclaim for its raw and unadulterated account or a horrifically abusive relationship.
The trailer for The Fall, which is already garnering significant interest in Hollywood for its feature film adaptation, stars two of today's brightest young actors, Amanda Aardsma and Daniel Sobieray, both of whom will be attending the launch party. In addition, Cause and Effect lead singer Rob Rowe will be performing an acoustic set of some of C+E's biggest hits as well as some new material from his upcoming Kickstarter success, Whitewaits.
"Each chapter in The Fall is dedicated to the musical artist that most influences [the main character] Devon's life at that time, and there was no bigger influence in my personal life than Cause and Effect," says Elle. "I am so very thrilled that Rob is playing some of my favorite songs ever to support my novel. I'm seriously ecstatic."
Proceeds from all book sales will go to support Break The Cycle, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization dedicated to the education and prevention of dating abuse, especially among the youth population.
The Fall launch party, hosted by premier Hollywood promoter Jenn Laskey of Red Light Promotions, will take place this Saturday at Hemingway's Lounge - one of Hollywood's classiest locales. There is no cover but there will be limited space for those no on the guest list. The doors will open at 9pm and Rob Rowe will take the stage at 9.30 for an intimate thirty-minute set. His performance will be followed by the live premiere of The Fall trailer, and guests will then have the very rare opportunity to meet and mingle with Rowe, Aardsma, Sobieray, and the other celebrities attending in support of Elle, The Fall, and Break The Cycle.
Be prepared for a night you will not soon forget.
