Female Millennials Are Most Vulnerable In The Workforce
A white paper released by 1to1help.net, titled “Mental and Emotional Wellness of Millennials” states that female millennials are more likely to be distressed and suicidal, given the dual burden of social, and professional expectations.

Female millennials have significantly different concerns and a higher risk of suicidal ideation as compared to male millennials. For instance, the white paper states that “stressors which were unique to certain subgroups included women experiencing difficulties managing work and child care, difficulties in meeting expectations of in-laws, conflicts in marriage.”
Managing director of 1to1help Archana Bisht shared, “female millennials constitute a large percentage of the current workforce. It is important that organisations have specific strategies in place to help those who are vulnerable to mental health concerns and issues. Since 80% of an employee’s waking hour is spent at the workplace, it is important that organisations have specific strategies in place alongside emotional and wellness support.”
