Feinmann wins award by the Builders Association of Greater Boston for best kitchen design.
Boston, MA-NH (1888PressRelease) November 30, 2009 - Local design/build firm Feinmann was honored by the Builders Association of Greater Boston (BAGB) for “Best Interior Design of a Kitchen” at BAGB’s Annual PRISM Awards Gala. PRISM (Prestigious Results in Sales and Marketing) Awards pay tribute to housing industry professionals for excellence in building, design, sales and marketing.
Feinmann was recognized for its excellent renovation of a kitchen, a highly competitive category. The award-winning project is located in Newton, MA, and involved the creation of a more efficient kosher kitchen and a dining room that could function for nightly family dinners while also accommodating up to 14 people for dinner parties – all without adding square footage. The dynamic solution involved removing an existing wall separating the dining room and kitchen and flipping the two spaces, thus creating an open floor plan. Maple cabinets with a honey finish and oak flooring add warmth to the kitchen and dining room. Highlights of blue add a personal touch and appear as accent tiles in the backsplash, iridescent blue flecks in the ‘Blues in the Night’ granite, colorful blue pendants, and light blue cove ceilings.
