Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, Port Security (ICP) wins three Awards its first participation in HBC 2022 International Awards second cycle
On November 10, 2022, the winners of the second cycle of the HBC 2022 International Awards issued by Harvard Business Council (NY, USA) were announced.

The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security (ICP) was among these. The organization is responsible for recording personal and vital data for all populations in the Emirates, keeping them in electronic databases in coordination with the competent authorities, issuing the Emirates ID Card for each individual to be registered, and containing the Emirates ID number.
The institution recorded outstanding results in the Professional Award on behalf of Mr. Nedal Al Debes, the Executives Award on behalf of Brigadier Matar Ali Kharbash Alsaedi, and the Smart Application Award at the organizational level.
Mr. Nedal Al Debes, a data expert and business consultant at the ICP, scored the Gold level for the Professional Award as he is highly motivated and constantly seeking new opportunities to improve his skills to add value to the organization. He is also involved in various initiatives, such as the Smart Enrolment solution, which reduces the time and costs of the end-to-end enrollment process.
Concerning the Executives Award, instead, Brigadier Matar Ali Kharbash Alsaedi, the Information Technology Director of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security, was awarded the Gold status. The brigadier demonstrated remarkable leadership skills, as he can effectively manage all his duties by implementing a functional empowerment approach, through which he delegates responsibilities to other professionals who update and inform him regularly. In addition, he employs the honoring and motivation approach approved by the authority, as he honors all employees in the department. Under his supervision, the results of the employee happiness index reached 100%, according to an internal survey.
Finally, the Diamond level was reached for the Smart Application Award. The organization carried out one of the most critical and successful processes of smart transformation of services for a government agency in the UAE and the Middle East. As a result, all the authority's services have been fully automated, which exceeds 400 services in record time and with the highest standards approved locally and internationally. These services allowed all segments of Emirati society, citizens and residents, to provide all services for themselves, members of their families, and their guarantors easily, without the need to visit any service center.
Harvard Business Council has recognized in the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security (ICP) the characteristics of excellence, readiness, and expertness that every organization should have.
