Features and Track Time of Yas Marina Circuit’s Drive Experiences:
1. Caterham Seven Driving Experience
Caterham Seven is a two-seater lightweight sports car and a modern reproduction of an old Lotus model. It has a top speed of 235 km/h and can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3 seconds. It also has GCC racing specs, a 5-point racing harness, and a 6-speed SADEV semi-automatic gearbox with an F1 style paddle shift.
Track time: With Caterham Seven, participants will get 10 minutes of track time.
2. Aston Martin GT4 Driving Experience
The Aston Martin GT4 is a heavyweight sports car, with a horsepower of 503 BHP. It has a top speed of 300 km/h and can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. The Aston Martin GT4 has racing specs like a 4-litre turbocharged V8 engine, racing brakes, Pirelli Slick racing tyres, and a 6-speed semi-automatic gearbox with F1 style paddle shift. It also has safety features like a roll cage, a fire extinguisher, racing seats, and a harness.
Track time: With Aston Martin GT4, the participants will get 20 minutes of track time. The Aston Martin driving experience is conducted on the North Corkscrew track of Yas Marina Circuit. This means that in 20 minutes of track time, its participants will be able to cover 8 - 10 laps on the North Corkscrew track.
3. Polaris Drift Sprint
Polaris Drift Sprint is an experience where participants can try their hand at sprint racing and drifting with the Polaris RZR RS1. The Polaris RZR RS1 is a lightweight car that is designed especially for drifting and wet courses. It has a horsepower of just 110 BHP and can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds.
Track time: With the Polaris RZR RS1, the participants can get 10 minutes of track time for a head-to-head sprint race. This experience is conducted on two dynamic wet short courses, where 10 minutes of track time would amount to about 5 runs.
4. Ferrari 458 GT Driving Experience
Ferrari 458 GT is one of the most popular sports cars in the world that is available for a driving experience at the Yas Marina Circuit. The Ferrari 458 GT has a top speed of 325 km/h and can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. It also has racing specs like a 4.5-litre aspirated V8 engine, Brembo racing brakes, Pirelli Slick racing tyres, and a 7-speed semi-automatic gearbox. Its safety specs include racing seats, harness, fire extinguisher, a roll cage, intercom, and an onboard camera and video system.
Track time: With the Ferrari 458 GT, participants will get a track time of 15 minutes. The experience is conducted on the North Corkscrew track of Yas Marina Circuit, where, as per the records, the car can reach a speed of 240 km/h.
5. Formula Yas 3000 Driving Experience
The Formula Yas 3000 is a single-seater racing car that is built exactly like a Formula 1 car. It has a top speed of 275 km/h and can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds. The car has a 3-litre V6 Jaguar engine and 6-speed semi-automatic Hewland gearbox with an F1 style paddle shift. Like a Formula 1 race car, the Formula Yas 3000 also has a carbon fibre cockpit interior, racing brakes, and an onboard video system.
Track time: With the Formula Yas 3000, the participants will get 10 - 20 minutes of track time.
6. Yas Car Track Day
The Yas Car Track Day is a driving experience in which the participants can bring in their own car and drive it on the F1 racetrack of Yas Marina Circuit. The experience is conducted in a safe and controlled environment. Its participation is divided into two categories, namely, Novice and Intermediate (with the Novice category being for beginners and the Intermediate category for experienced participants). On a Yas Car Track Day, the participants can cover either the North Circuit or the GP circuit.
Track time: For a Yas Car Track Day, participants will get 3 hours of track time, regardless of whether they choose the North Circuit or the GP circuit.
7. Premium Car Track Day
The Premium Car Track Day is an advanced version of the Yas Car Track Day, with added benefits and inclusions. In this driving experience, the participants can cover the entire 5.5 km long GP circuit with their vehicle. They will also get added benefits like a free session of driving the Aston Marting GT4 and VIP Concierge service.
Track time: For a Premium Car Track Day, the participants will get 7 hours of track time. This timespan will be from afternoon to midnight, with an hour of a break for dinner (the break time is not included in the 7-hour track time).
8. Polaris Venue Tour
The Polaris Venue Tour is a driving experience in which participants can take a guided tour of the behind-the-scenes venues of Abu Dhabi Formula 1 GP. The tour is conducted with the Polaris RZR RS1.
Track time: The participants can get about 45 - 60 minutes of time to complete the whole Polaris Venue Tour.
