The instructor for this webinar Kim Valeri is the Facility Security Officer for Beacon Associates, Inc. in Bel Air, Maryland. She has over 11 years combined industrial security experience in the capacity of Facility Security Officer. Kim has been an active committee member for the past 2 ½ years with NMSC (Northeast Maryland Security Council) and is in the first year of a two year term as Secretary for the Council. She is also an active member of the Chesapeake Bay Chapter, NCMS (National Classification Management Society), SHRM and is certified as a PHR.
Under Kim's guidance as the FSO, Beacon Associates, Inc. was selected as a live scan beta test site for the upcoming SWFT and OPM mandate for e-Fingerprinting.
The FDBDO has formed close working relationships with organizations such as the statewide Economic Development Offices, colleges and universities, Chambers of Commerce and other business associations, and the Fort Detrick Contracting Community (FDCC) to help create a stronger business community and a stronger Fort Detrick.
