Fast-Growing RTX Builds Industry-Wide Presence
Timeshare executives and owners attending industry events this year are likely to run into an exciting young company - Resort Travel & Xchange (RTX).
- (1888PressRelease) June 20, 2015 - Although relatively new on the scene, RTX has grown quickly to become a leader in international timeshare exchange. A key driver of the company's success is its increasingly high profile at major events on the timeshare industry calendar.
The Asheville, North Carolina-based company made its debut in 2012 and now boasts 80,000 members. In just a few years, RTX has earned industry-wide acclaim for its value-rich services. The company works with a vast network of travel partners worldwide. Among its enhanced member benefits, RTX offers low exchange fees and flexibility through split-week vacations. Other products and services to promote ownership satisfaction include: a long deposit life of up to 48 months and last-minute getaways starting at just $49 per week. The rapidly expanding company also offers exclusive airport lounge memberships and generous deals on accommodation, cruises, car rentals and restaurants, enabling members to plan their entire vacation in one consolidated package.
As part of the proactive RTX approach to developing strategic partnerships, the company maintains high visibility as a sponsor and exhibitor at timeshare meetings and conferences across North America. It also contributes actively to such key groups as Timeshare Industry Young Professionals (TIYP) operated by ARDA and Timeshare Association (TATOC).
"RTX is continually adding new member services and world-class properties in many of the world's most sought-after destinations," says Will Horton, RTX president and CEO. "We're excited about expanding our role at major industry events. They provide excellent opportunities to showcase our latest offerings. With a focus on networking and professional development, these meetings and conferences bring people together and make it easy to connect and deepen relationships with prospective customers and strategic partners."
High Profile
RTX kicked off 2015 by exhibiting at the year's first Regional Meeting of the National Timeshare Owners Association (NTOA). The event took place, Feb. 8, at The Villages, just outside of Ocala, Fla. RTX executives told more than 100 owners and their guests in attendance how to maximize the value of their timeshare investment through exchange. From an attractive exhibitor booth, executives provided one-on-one owner education, answering questions and offering recommendations on how to customize exchanges to best suit their needs.
Fast on the heels of NTOA, RTX sponsored the Fifth Annual GNEX Timeshare Leaders Conference, Feb. 15 - 18, at the Manchester Grand Hyatt, San Diego, Calif. One of the industry's premier conferences, GNEX 2015 drew 197 senior-level executives from 119 companies across the globe. Networking with key decision-makers, the RTX executive team highlighted the company's robust suite of services that benefit owners, developers, management companies and homeowners associations alike.
Next up, RTX sponsored the Speed Networking event at the 60th semiannual C.A.R.E. (Cooperative Association of Resort Exchangers) Conference, May 2 - 5, at the Westin Annapolis in Maryland. This is the third consecutive time RTX has sponsored this event. Based on its resounding success, the company also will sponsor Speed Networking at the C.A.R.E. Fall Conference, Sept. 26 - 29, at the Westin Denver Downtown in Colorado.
Each of the previous RTX-sponsored Speed Networking sessions drew nearly 100 attendees and was the conference's favorite event based on participant feedback. The popular mixer gives each delegate the opportunity to meet one-on-one with other attendees in a rapid succession of two-minute introductions. Speed Networking takes place early in the conference to give delegates plenty of time for follow-up discussions with prospective clients and partners.
Finally, RTX promoted its innovative services to 3,000 industry professionals as an exhibitor at the 2015 ARDA World Convention, April 12 - 16, at the Orlando World Center Marriott in Florida. The company also sponsored the kickoff to ARDA World - the AIF Golf Tournament. This annual tournament is a major fundraiser for the ARDA International Foundation, which produces research and educational programs to advance the rapidly evolving timeshare industry.
The momentum continues through the remainder of 2015 with sponsorships in the works for the industry's key fall conferences.
