Sacramento, CA (1888PressRelease) December 02, 2011 - Fargen Amplification announced today it has expanded its leading boutique tube amplifier line with the introduction of a new model, the Retro Classic.

The Retro Classic is a unique design created to capture three different classic sounds, in one single channel 25 watt amplifier. "This is a completely new and original KT66 Benjamin Fargen amplifier design, not based on any other model in the history of our company" says Ben Fargen, founder and CEO. The amp leverages Fargen's own Decade Switch, allowing the player to switch between completely distinct tones on the fly. The first Decade Position is the '59, reminiscent of a late 50's tweed bassman, the second is the '65, enhancing a JTM 45 tone, and the third is the '68, like a 12000 series superbass.

The Retro Classic is Fargen's new release for the 2011 holiday season, and is available for immediate shipment. "The Retro Classic sets a new standard for flexibility and features, without sacrificing sonic quality and pure tone feel'" stated Fargen.
