'The 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For' is an awards competition providing the business community with the opportunity to gain recognition, showcase their best practices and demonstrate why they are an ideal place for employees to work. The selection, recognition and awarding of the honor allows businesses to showcase best human resource management practices and policies, and demonstrate why each recognized company is an ideal place for employees to work and inspire other business owners.

To be considered for a position on the coveted 101 Best and Brightest list, organizations must first be nominated by an individual. Company employees then are randomly selected to complete an anonymous survey on how they feel about their work environment.
Farbman Group / NAI Farbman believes in being an integral part of the community in which it does business. Employees are encouraged to get involved by using offered company time earmarked specifically for community involvement. In 2009 alone, the company donated several hundred thousand dollars and contributed more than 1,000 hours of community service to Detroit-area nonprofit organizations and charities.
