Family Promise Welcomes New Team
Nonprofit greets incoming executive director and board members.
- Denver, CO (1888PressRelease) December 24, 2015 - Family Promise welcomes Allie Card as its new executive director as well as two board members, Meryl Meranski and Jessica Kroll.
Allie joined the Family Promise team as a social-work intern with the University of Denver in 2014 before transitioning to a case-management role with the nonprofit this year. She has a passion to help individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
"Family Promise has touched my heart," Allie said. "We fill a need in our community - keeping families together by not only providing emergency shelter for all family members, but compassion, case management and resources to help them build a brighter future."
Meryl was also on the Family Promise team before moving to a position at a Colorado-based real estate company earlier this year. Jessica was part of a Family Promise affiliate in New York before relocating to Colorado two years ago. They both bring a diverse range of experience in public and private sectors and an in-depth knowledge of event planning and fundraising to the organization's board of directors.
