Canadian Greetings/Vancouver Luggage Warehouse Launches New Robson Location, Partnering Once Again With Global Travelware Giant Samsonite.

Already operating as two successful locations, the stores offer the most comprehensive collection of global luggage giant Samsonite products in the Lower Mainland. The third location will exclusively offer the Samsonite's Cosmolite line, its strongest and lightest collection to date. Featuring Curv® technology, this new luggage concept in thermoplastics is extremely lightweight and offers exceptional resistance to impact, "qualities that are sure to entice our customers to our new location," says owner Simon Lee. Lee, a Samsonite Authorized Retailer since inception in 1990, is the Largest independent Retailer in Western Canada, and his management and staff are fluent in the Samsonite products and services. Vancouver Luggage Warehouse will launch its third location on July 16th, and will be located in the Robson Public Market at 1610 Robson Street, Vancouver BC.

Born in Korea, Canadian business owner Simon Lee has owned and operated over 30 businesses since 1975. In 1990, Lee was asked by Hallmark Canada to oversee its floundering Robson Street location. Seeing the drop in greeting card sales and a rise in traveling, Lee began to offer Vancouver travelers the finest luggage and travel accessories in the city. Within the year, the name Hallmark was changed to Canadian Greetings and Lee was operating his own independent location.
Since becoming an authorized Samsonite retailer in 1990, he has achieved "Independent Specialty Dealer of the Year Awards" multiple times. In 2009 he was awarded a special recognition award, fermenting his status as the largest independent Samsonite Retailer in Western Canada.
