Families invited to celebrate the fabulous 4th in Downtown Clearwater
Those looking for a family-friendly 4th need look no further than Downtown Clearwater.
- Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, FL (1888PressRelease) June 29, 2024 - On Thursday, July 4th, the Church of Scientology Flag Service Organization is sponsoring a family-friendly celebration in honor of Independence Day in downtown Clearwater. The event will be from 2:00pm until 5:00pm. There is no cost to attend.
Guests will sign in at the Osceola Courtyard (located at 201 N. Fort Harrison Ave.) and be provided with a guide to all of the activities – both in the Osceola Courtyard itself and in the Church-supported humanitarian centers down South Ft Harrison Ave. to Cleveland Street. Participating organizations include the Florida affiliates for: United for Human Rights, The Way to Happiness Foundation, the Foundation for a Drug Free World, the Volunteer Ministers and Citizens Commission on Human Rights.
These humanitarian centers are bookended by the Clearwater Community Volunteers Center (133 N. Fort Harrison Ave) and Scientology Information Center (500 Cleveland Street), both of which will also provide activities during the event.
“In addition to hot dogs, snow cones and a bounce house, guest can enjoy activities that highlight the heritage of our country’s founding,” said Lisa Mansell from the Public Affairs Department of the Church of Scientology. “We welcome the community to come join us as part of their holiday celebration.”
As guests complete the various activities in the centers, they will be given raffle tickets for prize drawings which will be held at 4:45pm in the Osceola Courtyard.
