The Familia Unida 16th Annual LA Wheelchair Wash Festival celebrates National Disability Awareness month at the East Los Angeles Civic Center this Sunday October 13 from 11am-6pm.
This Sunday October 14th, at the East LA Civic Center the 15th Annual Wheelchair Wash Festival will honor Los Angeles Mother of 4 with the Abilities in Action Advocate Award. From 11am-6pm there will be free wheelchair washing, waxing, tuneups and community booths also featuring live entertainment all day!
The Los Angeles premiere of Soy Nero will be shown to an audience of community advocates and celebrity guests on Tuesday August 22 at the Historic Egyptian Theatre to raise awareness of immigrant contributions.
